We are gathering in front of the European Union Delegation in Washington DC with a banner that reads “Self-determination is a right not a crime” to protest the inaction of the EU institutions before the blatant attack on Catalonia’s rights and liberties, particularly the right to self-determination, and the violation of our democratic rights and the unfair incarceration and trial of our political and social representatives.
